Following is a short and simple video to guide you through a basic Mindfulness exercise.

This video has been put together as an easy and practical introduction to Mindfulness, so you can gain a real experience of what Mindfulness actually is.

After all, Mindfulness is a practice, and no real understanding of it can come through reading alone – you have to PRACTICE it!

The video will guide you through a series of steps which take you from Awareness level 2 (vague awareness of your surroundings) through levels 3 & 4 (awareness of your physical, external environment and your physical, internal environment) and into the beginning of level 5 (awareness of your non-physical, internal environment).

For more information on the levels of awareness mentioned here, you can read our article, Levels Of Awareness, but it is not necessary to know this before listening to the video.

So give yourself 15 minutes of Mindfulness – switch off your phone and get yourself comfortable, and enjoy this simple introduction to basic Mindfulness.
